The Nikkor AF-S DX 16-80mm F2.8-4 ED VR lens is equipped with some of Nikon's most recent professional technologies, such as an electromagnetic diaphragm fluorine and a protective coat on the front lens. The aperture offers a more accurate exposure, especially when you shoot at high frame rates. The fluorine coat repels water, dust and dirt off active without sacrificing image quality and makes it easier to clean the lens with less chance of scratching. It is also the first DX lens with Nano Crystal Coat, so ghosting and flare are reduced to a minimum.
